Food & Drink Photography London
Photography that makes people hungry and thirsty
Food and drink sell on appetite, and appetite lives in the photo. A flat, badly lit shot makes even a brilliant product look ordinary, while the right image makes someone reach for their phone. At British Muses in West London, we shoot packaged food, snacks, condiments, coffee, soft drinks, spirits and supplements for brands selling in supermarkets, farm shops and online. From a clean can on white to a styled flat lay dripping with texture, we create images that look as good as your product tastes.
What we shoot for food and drink brands
We cover the full spread a food or drink brand needs. White-background packshots give retailers and marketplaces the clean catalogue image they ask for. Styled shots bring in ingredients, garnishes and props, the lime wedge beside the tonic, the coffee beans scattered around the bag, the steam rising off a fresh pour. Lifestyle scenes put your product on a breakfast table, a picnic blanket or a bar, so customers can imagine the moment. We also shoot pour shots, splash and bubble detail for drinks, plus flat lays and recipe-style hero images for social media.

What's included?
Every food and drink shoot includes professional lighting, white-background packshots, styled and lifestyle setups, plus props, fresh garnishes and creative direction. You get high-resolution retouched files, colour-corrected so your brand colours stay true, supplied in web and print sizes with square and vertical crops for social. Rush turnaround of 24 to 48 hours is available around launches and listing deadlines.
Built for retail listings and e-commerce
Getting into a retailer or onto a marketplace usually means meeting an image spec, and we shoot to those standards from the start. That means pure white backgrounds at RGB 255,255,255 for Amazon, correct framing so the product fills the frame, and high-resolution files that hold up under zoom. For your own website and social channels, we deliver the same products styled and shot in a way that builds a recognisable brand look across every platform.
Our Food & Drink Photography Services in London
The technical side of food photography
Food and drink throw up specific challenges. Glass bottles and cans reflect the whole studio, fizzy drinks need their bubbles caught at the right moment, and anything frozen, chilled or fresh has a short window before it stops looking its best. We plan each setup so the product is at its peak when the shutter fires, control reflections on glossy packaging and glass, and light translucent drinks so the colour glows. Condensation, pour timing and garnish placement are all dialled in on set rather than faked badly afterwards.
Who we work with
We shoot for independent food makers, drinks start-ups, coffee roasters, health and wellness brands, and established names refreshing their range. Whether you're a one-product challenger brand preparing your first Amazon listing or a growing range that needs 40 SKUs shot consistently, we scale the session to fit. Send-and-shoot is an option too, if posting your products to the studio is easier than coming in.
Packaging and label photography
A lot of food and drink sells on the strength of its packaging, so we shoot it to do the design justice. That means crisp, legible labels, accurate foil, gloss and print finishes, and framing that flatters the shape of the can, bottle, pouch or jar. For brands pitching to retail buyers or refreshing a range, we also shoot clean cut-out-ready images you can drop onto any background, along with group shots that show the full range together. Range shots like these earn their keep in line sheets, wholesale decks and the 'shop the collection' parts of your website. It's the kind of detail that makes a small brand look established, both on shelf and online.
